Flamingo Fun



Its been a while since i made a card.There just doesnt seem to be enough hours in the day.And it didnt help that my mojo went walk about

I belong to the Hobbycrafters forum and just for fun we some times set the odd Challenge,The theme was pink and green

I used a Dustin Pike image and coloured it with prisma pencils.I created the background in a programme called my craft studio,then added a flower and a few pink gems

My prize




Wow i came 3rd last week at Karen's Doodles,so chuffed lol
So with the image i won i thought i would enter again this week

I have colour the image with prisma pencils.The corners are done with a cuttlebug die and i used a Martha Stewart punch on the top and bottom of the card,and of course a little bit of ribbon from my stash

Summer Zest



Is the name of the challenge over on Karen's Doodles
I can honestly say i dont think i have ever made such a bright card before lol
The image is Bovine Beauty with can be found in karen's shop..The scallop circles where cut with nesties.i ran the orange one through the divine swirls cuttlebug folder
The yellow piece of card i cut with crickey and threaded some blue ribbon through it.I then added a few gems and a flower out of my stash

White on White



Good Evening.Its been a while since i posted on here.What with injury and illness every thing went to pot.Here is hoping i have had my fair share for a while
So to get me back in the mood i have made this card for Karen's Doodles UK Challenge

The theme for the challenge is white on white,harder than i thought

The image is one of Karen's which i have coloured with prisma pencils,Its then mounted on a fancy shape i cut out on crickey which is then mounted on another shape that i cross hatch with a score board.The final mount i ran though the cuttlebug using the Swiss dots,I then added a few pearls and a little bit of ribbon

All blue



Afternoon Bloggers,i hope some of you have got the sunshine as here in Yorkshire we haven't :(
So what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than crafting
Dustin Pike has release some new Digi images and i couldn't resist.They are all zoo themed
Here i have used his Hippo .I ran some blue paper through the cuttlebug to add a bit of texture for behind the Hippo
I found some lovely blue Patterned card added some blue glass beads and some brads.i also cuttlebugged a light piece of blue card for effect

Buttons and bows



Seems a while since i have posted on my blog,but there again i haven't been in the mood for cards.I am blaming the weather,you just get set for Summer and what happens you go to bed and Winter is back again
I have been looking round the challenges to see if any thing would kick start me and came across Karen s UK challenge which was buttons and bows.I thought i would start with a nice easy one..lol
Coloured the image with Prisma pencils .I stamped a bit of card with a flourish stamp i found in the drew,and ran some lilac card through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss dots folder

Fishy Wishes




Its my youngest son's Birthday at the end of the Month so i made this card for his big brother to give him
The image is one of Dustin Pikes.He has some great images for sale that fit any Child's card
I coloured the image with prisma pencils.I used a Martha Stewart punch on some off cut of card i had in my Stash.The sentiment is computer Generated

Fairy Wishes


Hello everyone.
I have been a bit under the weather lately so every thing has been a little neglected ..So today i sat down and decided it was time i got back into the swing of making cards again
I had a look round the challenge blogs this morning and this is what i came up with
The image is from Karens Doodles and i have coloured her with my Prisma pencils.The butterflies are punched with an Anna Griffin punch.Card stock is from my stash.I found a template for the sewing and added some beads to it

The best seat


in the house is always taken by the cat lol
I made this card last night and thought it fir puuuurrrrfectly for a cat lady friend of mine
The image once again is from Karen's doodles,She will have me bankrupt before long :)
Coloured with my favorite prisma Pencils
i used a Martha Stewart punch along the bottom layer.Card stock is from kanban, flowers are Prima.I got a lovely big mixed tube of them for my birthday ribbons and brads from my stash

Delightful Sketch




It's been a lovely warm day here

I needed to make an Anniversary card so i thought i would follow the sketch on Delightful Sketches blog
I have used one of Karens images and coloured it as usual with Prisma pencils
I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the 2 heart ribbons .I ran the white card through the cuttle bug heart folder and the red through the swiss dots folder.The beads and ribbon are from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated.Sorry about the glare on it from the flash on my camera

Little boy

I just can not resist these images from karens doodles.I thought this was just too cute not to buy
I have coloured him with prisma pencils and blended with white spirits.I think the pencils give a lovely even finish The backing paper is from my stash along with the ribbon and little green gems.The two green stripy cards that i have matted under the image are from Kanban

Birthday Wish



I bought this gorgeous Fairy from Karens Doodles at the weekend and thought she would make such a cute little girls card.So with my niece in mind this is what i came up with

Coloured her with prisma pencils and mat and layered her.The punched edge is done with a Martha Stewart punch.The little butterflies are done with an Anna Griffin punch.The base mat has been embossed with a cuttlebug folder
